    Hi everyone, I'm Sumaya!

    I'm a Melbourne based educator and community worker by day and a children's book illustrator and painter by...every other time really!

     

    I believe in the power of art, storytelling and authentic human connection which is why I'm so grateful that I get to do what I do.

    I have a hidden talent for sitting in cafes and drinking coffee which is hard work, but someone has to do it I guess! Give me the moon, stars and a GREAT cup of coffee and I'm happy.

    I would love to work with you to create a meaningful piece of art for yourself, your space or a loved one! Commissioned paintings are a collaboration between you and I! They are one of my favourite things to do because they allow me to hear and capture your stories in a meaningful way.

     

    The process is pretty simple

    1. Fill out this form

    2. I will get in contact with you and we can have a chat about your art piece

    3. Once we agree on a timeline, we will proceed with a 50% deposit

    4. I will send you progress shots along the way to keep you updated

    5. Upon completion, the reminder 50% is payment is made and your art piece will be on it's way to you!
